What is
Needlepoint?
"If paint by numbers and embroidery had a baby."
Needlepoint is a type of embroidery where there is a painted image on the canvas. The sewer will match the colors in the picture using thread and a needle. Although there are many types of stitches, the general stitch to cover the canvas is a half X.
This type of embroidery has been around for hundreds of years and can be seen in upholstered chairs, shoes, wall hangings, and more. Unfortunately over the decades the art form has been less and less popular due to high prices for canvases and the lack of evolving designs.

Thus On Point strives to bring back the popularity of needlepoint with fun modern designs at an affordable price. And why not? If embroidery and paint by numbers are back in, why can't needlepoint?
